Dear Reader,

I'm Corinne, an English language graduate and writer with a dream to help authors get published. Yes, like so many before and with me I, too, aspire to become part of the competitive creative industry that is publishing...

After having studied English Language and Literature and Literary Studies: Writing, Editing and Mediating I'm convinced I'm well-prepared to start a career in publishing on an educational level, but I'm nowhere near done learning (though I hope I never will be, because learning and being able to grow continuously is one of the most exciting things about life, isn't it?).

Despite my aim to start a professional career in publishing to see other people's work through the publication process, my desire to create my own pieces of writing will never disappear. My love for writing started at a young age. I remember being a young girl and writing stories during long car rides or holiday by hand (mind you, this was before everyone took their laptops and iPhones everywhere. Does that idea make me feel ancient? Slightly...).

For me, writing has always been cathartic and at times a struggle, a fight but often also peaceful and an instrument to order my sometimes chaotic mind.

So that's what this blog will be for: to share my stories, whether they be pieces of creative writing, book reviews, or just trains of thought.
